Benson and family

Kate and Lilly getting ready to go down the river

kids playing in the river

Angie. Samie. And Maddie
On Monday we went to this creek over in Ceder Hills. We had a picnic with the cousins by the creek. then the kids played in the creek the whole time. It was so nice because the water was not deep and my kids stayed close so I wasn't a nervous wreck. That night we went to the late movie. We saw Get Smart It was so funny I loved it. The next day we went up to a park by my house and had lunch. Then we all went to the Lehi Legacy Pool. The kids loved the big green slide. All the kids did so good and the life jackets are so nice. The kids all had plenty of friends to play with. That night we went over to the Cluffs to watch Benson become an Elder. It was so awesome to here him give his testimony. After wards we went back to the Cluffs and listened to all the family give advice for Benson. It was so spiritual I loved it but I pretty much cried the whole time so did every one else. He will be so good on his mission. On Wednesday Jackie And I had our softball game. And lets say we are really good and we haven't lost all are games. Its really fun my sister Nickie is on the team and also my best buddy Jamie. We all have a good time. Next week is our tournament so we will see how that goes. Then we went to Kangaroo zoo (bounce house) my kids love that place and they burn all that energy of theirs. On Saturday I took Maddie and Bridger to their Swim Meet down in Spanish Fork. They did so good Maddie took one 1st .2nd and 3rd in her events. Bridger is doing really good two he got two 1st places and then in the breast stroke he got disqualified. the cutest thing about that is he was going around saying he got missqualified. He was a good sport about it. then I met up with Nick and the other kids up the canyon at Deer Creek lake for some boating. It was really fun we had wave runners and a boat. Nick does so well at everything and for me wow is it hard to pull my self out of the water. Kate was the best she played all day never cried she loved the water the beach driving the wave runners. Kolby was so glued to the boat he loves everything out doors he always is asking Nick when our we buying a boat, trailer, or motorcycle. So thanks to the family for planing a fun day.

Cluff Reunion and Benson's Farewell

Starting on Thursday we had our Cluff Reunion slash Benson Farewell. On Friday everyone started to show up. We played a game of softball down at Maddie's school. It was so much fun we had enough for two teams and a lot of cheerleaders on the side. Afterwards we came to our house and had pizza and watermelon. Lets say that the house and yard were full of people. Their was forty grand kids and twenty eight adults small family to say the least. My kids love the cousins to be here. Then we went out to grandparents house and had Uncle Jack talk to us about Porter Rockwell. Then on Saturday it was crazy for Nick and I. I went to the Strawberry Days 5k and beat my best time in a race and amazing as it is, I was third in my age group. Then Nick took Bridger to his baseball pictures and game. Then we met back home and went to the Parade. Then we went to the temple with all the Cluffs. It was so amazing everyone went through together. It is so neat to have our family together forever. Pam and Ben have raised a beautiful family that I love. Then after that we all went to the Rodeo the kids love it. Their favorite part is when all the kids run after the cash cow.. It was really fun the best part is the strawberry's and creme. Then the next morning we had pictures. Trying to make sixty eight people look at the same time with a smile wow we will soon see. Then we went to Benson's Farewell. Jackie talked and it was a fantastic talk and then Benson spoke. He was so good, I just loved the spirit that is their when a boy is ready for their mission. Then we had a huge lunch after and the food was good. The girls in the family our all good cooks. It was nice we just visited all day. What a fun weekend crazy but fun. So good luck Benson you will be a great missionary. We love you so much.

Softball Season

Maddie pitching Maddie hitting the ball she made it to second
Well for the last couple of months Maddie has been on a softball team. This was her first year playing and in fact she never has played the game before. She was amazing she just is a natural athlete. She picked up on the game so fast. She started to learn how to pitch and she started to pitch for her team. It was very terrifying for nick and I. It's a little stressful watching her and hope she could do a good job for her team. But she has that knack and she was so fun to watch. I'm so proud of her she is always happy lose or win. Well now that the season is over she can just do swimming she is very athletic. She gets it from her dad. So good luck Maddie

I'm so glad when Daddy comes home

My grandpa and my dad All the Boys on my side
The best father of the year
I'm so glad to be around great men. My kids have great examples. I'm so thank full for my dad and everything he does for me. He is a fun grandpa and the kids love to hang out with him. They love to ride in the tractors with him. Grandparents who are both still around to hang out with and visit. And to listen to all there stories I love that. And also a great father in law who raised my sweet husband and taught him how to be a great father. The kids just cling to him they love to be at grandpa side. I just want to thank my husband. He is the most amazing father. My kids Love him so much he amazes me everyday his willingness to make our home a happy home. My kids freak out every time he walks in the door. The song comes to mind every time they are so glad when daddy comes home as glad as they can be. They jump up in his arms and kiss and hug like they haven't seen each other in months. He never misses a game our program. An if he can he goes with the kids to their field trips and sometimes he is the only dad. He is so good to us and we love him. So thanks to all the Dads we love you so much. We hope you had a Happy Fathers Day.

Little Red RidingHood

So it's been two weeks since I have had a chance to get on my blog. On Saturday the 7Th I went up to Logan to do a bike race with some girl friends Amber, Heather and Mandi. And Amber's mom and grandma joined us as well. It was an all women's bike race. We left on Friday at noon and went up. They have a dinner the night before so anytime a free meal I'm in. We had some time and we went to a movie it was really funny. The movie was Baby Mama. Not recommend for children. We stayed at Amber's grandmas house thanks for the free night stay. The next morning we got up early and went to the beak fest at the race free again. Then we started on our journey. They had stops every ten or fifteen miles or so. And at each stop there was loads of fruit, drinks, pb&j sandwiches, cookies, and protein bars FANTASTIC. Then at mile thirty they had lunch Subway sandwiches yes it was free again. Then we made our way back home. We endured a lot of wind the whole time and some freaky cold rain. But it was the best race I cant believe I rode sixty miles on my bike and my bum can't believe it either. It was well worth the money the event was great.
