The greatest man

We just celabrated the birth of my beatiful husband. He truely is the light of my life. he makes everything run smoothly around here. He is a constant cruch and a shoulder to cry on. He puts up with me which is a lot because of my roller coaster of moods that I go through. He is an amazing man and I want ot tell him how much I love him. So we started of by nick and I having a night out alone it was so fun. We went up to the big SLC. We went to the bating cages and went to the Texas Road House for dinner. This is one of our favorite places to eat. Then we walked through the gateway and went to Ben and Jerry's yummy. We stayed at the Little America and the next morning we ate at this yummy little Bakery. Then we headed up to Park City to go on the Zip Line. It was so fun. Then on saturday we went on a little camping trip up to Payson Lakes. It was so beatiful we had a good time we fished and swam it was a blast. Our kids were in heaven.

I'm proud to be an American

I'm so lucky to live in a country where I have the freedom to choose how I live my Life. I'm so honored by all the people who fight for our country. I'm glad that we can choose what religion we want to be apart of. I love this time to think how wonderful our country is an how beautiful it is to live here. On the forth of July we woke up and went to our bike parade and breakfast with all our neighbors and friends. The kids were so cute in there red, white and blues. I love that my husband will were his patriotic colors and feel proud to were them. It was a beautiful day to hang out with the kids and just spend time all together. Nick and I attempted our first cheese cake and we double batched it. They both came out so pretty with no cracks. They were so good the glass pan one worked better. The crust wasn't hard like the dark pan, so any one who has a good recipe I would love to try another. That night we went to the Cluffs and had dinner and went to the park to play games. Then we went back for dessert and fireworks. It was so nice because usually we go to a grassy spot next to the Stadium of Fire but the traffic and the people its a total nightmare. It was awesome at the Cluffs because you can see the whole valley and all the fireworks. the kids were in heaven with all the sparklers thanks Gaylee and all the glow sticks thanks grandma. Nick and Nelson put on a good firework show a little crazy when those to get together not the best of example what you should do with fire. But it was fun to watch them. So I hope everyone had a wonderful 4Th of July.

Black Bean Salsa

Her is the recipe everyone wanted from Benson farewell. It is easy and delicious.
2 cans black beans, drained
2 cans white corn, drained
1 yellow onion chopped small
6 big tomatoes chopped small
add more if you like it more tomatoes
put in a large bowl. then add one jar of zesty Italian dressing you might have a little bit left over . I use the fat free kind. let sit in fridge over night or for a few hours. then when ready to serve add 2 to 3 avocados chopped so it wont go mushie over night. Then serve I like using the Black Corn Chips from Costco yummy!!! Can garnish with cilantro.
