Maddie's First

On Sunday we were able to go to the temple dedication. It was so neat because we had our Maddie with us. I can't believe how big she is. She loved it, she was so amazed how the whole thing worked. I love her and the little women she is. I'm so happy to be living in an area where you can pretty much drive over any hill and see a temple and another and another. What a wonderful place to live. I love Utah!!

I just returned home yesterday from California. My sister Nickie and My best friend Amy went to California to celebrate the birth of Amy sister Alli and Nickie best friends first baby. You can say the four of us were always together. We have been friends since child birth and loved each others company. Yes we did get into fights with the big girls what me and Amy would say. For the most part we all got along pretty well. It was so fun to go down as children we always would talk about taking a trip to California together and here we are all adults finely having the chance to do it. We arrived to the most beautiful baby, she has the cutest black hair. She all ready has this world figured out cry when I need something or just cry so they know I'm here. It amazes me still after having four children of my own how wonderful a gift this is that we get to raise God's children. We had a nice weekend we visited, held the baby, ate, held the baby, ate again, held the baby, went on a little shopping outing to my fav place H&M, held the baby, ate at In & Out Burger, Ate at Cheesecake Factory, held the baby, talked about old memories, made some freezer dinners, held the baby, and made about a hundred cookies and ate a ton of dough, And we could get enough of holding the beautiful baby. When we took Amy to the Airport we stopped at the LA temple it was huge and very beautiful. We parted with Amy on Sunday and it was very sad it is so fun to share this time together. After we made a fast stop to look at the ocean I just had to see it. Then we spent our last night watching movies eating more and yes having some cookies. Thanks Alli for letting us spend time with you and your daughter.

Kolb &Kate Played Itty Bitty Ball at the Legacy Center. It is so nice having them do something together. Kate is kinda of a show off she has to make sure i watch her. She also is a pill lets just say I have to bribe her with everything to stay in class. Kolby is so good he is a leader and has a lot of fun.

I've got that scouting spirit

Last year Nick went to Wood Badge camp for a week. They have to pass off all there tickets, to be awarded. Last night they had there award meeting. It was so funny seeing all these big men so excited about scouting and singing the scout songs. It makes me proud to have a stake that is trying to get all the young men's leaders to do this. It totally makes them a better leader and I'm glad to know when my boys get old enough they will have some great examples. I love that they have a dad they can look up to we are so proud of you daddy.

I can't stop sewing

one of the cutest bows

Kate's pink dress
Jackie's purse part of her shower gift
My scripture purse it's bigger and I love the button
My first purse and I love the colors
So in December I started to make these adorable ribbon bows for the girls. Lets just say I love them they are so fantastic. Lets just say Kate loves to were them. Then after Christmas Jane and her sister invited me over to make the cutest purse ever. I loved it so much I decided I would make one for Jack and one more for me and well Maddie wanted in on this too. So one more purse to go. So in the middle of this Carol, Jane and I took on the task of making Jackie's wedding quilt. It is so beautiful we all want one for our selves. Then I started to make these cute dresses for Kate. Maddie at first didn't want one and now she does so I'm starting to do hers. I love having projects but my house is feeling neglected. I'm totally fine about it some times you need a creative moment. Next project covering my out side pillows.
