Tis' the Season

We started our Christmas count down. We have the kids fill out four strips of paper we have them write there name on one then three things they love to do or read or eat about Christmas. Then we rip one off and do what it says. The best is when it lands on them we all say things that we love about them and do one service project for them. The kids really love this and they never let us miss a night.
We never miss a year to enjoy the temple Square lights. My kids love going up and just walking around. Every year I think it was prettier then last year. It;s always on the top of our list.

Yes this is the train we road it is so cute. And it can pulls about fifteen big people. This man has made tracks that go along his amazing yard and kids yards. It takes you all around and stops at the North Pole. You get to sing with Santa and sit on his lap. Then you hop back on and go around and see these beautiful pictures of Jesus life and an amazing nativity. He does it for free and at the end he has were you can donate to primary children's and write in books for the missionary's. What an amazing family to do this great thing for others.

We always make a Gingerbread House and that is always a favorite thing to do. The kids love because there is always a tone of candy left.

On Saturday we had fun spending time with each other. We always go Christmas shopping together and then we split up into boys and girls. The girls buy for the boys and boys buy for the girls. We have a lot of fun walking down the mall trying to hide what store we have been to. The kids help but the presents with there allowances. It truly is fun its our way of teaching our kids to give to each other.
