I just
returned from the relief society broadcast of conference and I walked in the house and all was quite. They were still all out doing what ever dad's do with four kids when mom's gone like going and getting ice cream. It gave me a chance to think what I heard and what a pleasing thing to do alone. I usually don't get a minute of time to think about how I'm doing as a member of this beautiful church. What came to my mind was pres.
Uchtdorf talk. I find myself being one of those women he talked about. Like he said he thinks his cooking is brilliant and is wife will point out in her cooking how she could use less and add a little bit of that, when her cooking is perfection. I'm going to give my self a high five when my next cake comes out perfect and when I finely finish binding my quilts. I hope to be a better example for my daughters and to be what my boys are looking for in there companion. Here is a little quote that hangs in my house for everyone to see "All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my Angel Mother" Abraham Lincoln.
