Swim Team

Random pics of my kids. They have loved the water since day one. They are so fun to watch. They have no fear it's amazing.

They had this swim Camp at the pool and I decided to put Maddie and Bridger in it to see how good they are. And at the end they find out if the make the Summer Swim Team. I was a little hesitant for them because I didn't know if that's what they want to do. But they loved every minute of the camp and they found out that both of them made it. I'm so excited for them because I sink to the bottom. This will be such a good thing even if they don't stick with it for years. I won't have to worry as much when I go to the pool. Because right now I would rather never go its so crazy with all of them. So I will keep you posted on there meets. I hope their fun to watch.

It's Cookie Delicious

Over the weekend I made some yummy Sugar Cookies I know not the most gourmet of things but they were the best. They turned out perfect and if you know me I'm not the best but I try to be. I took them over to the fam's house and they were gone in a flash so here is the recipe for those who were asking. So enjoy and have fun with my childhood favorite.
Sugar Cookie
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
3 eggs
1 cup milk
6 cups flour
2 TBS baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
Mix wet well then add flour and baking powder slowly. Refrigerate over night. Then pull out 10 mins. before ready to cut into shapes. It will be a little sticky just kneed more flour when rolling it out. bake 350' for 8 mins. just a hint of brown.
Yummy Frosting
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup Cream cheese
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
5 to 6 cups powder sugar
mix wet then add powder sugar till the right thickness for you. If you want it a little stiffer add 1/4 cup shortening. This frosting is the perfect sweetness love it.

Going to the temple

We went to the temple on Wednesday to see Nick's Brother Benson go through for the first time. It is such a great experience to see some one go through for the first time. I love to be there the peace of being in the Lords home is wonderful. He is going to be such a great missionary he leaves on June 25th. I'm so glad that my kids have such good examples to follow. He is going to do well in Spokane Washington. So good luck Benson and we love you.

Disney or Bust

The Beach, Waiting in line, Jackie Kate and me Tea cups. The kids on dumbo,Getting ready to ride the new Nemo ride, Jackie and the kids on the tour of terror.

We went down to Disney land For the weekend. We left on Wednesday night and drove all night and got there in the morning. It was an easy drive because we took Jackie and Benson with us. The kids slept the whole way it was nice and quite. We picked up our niece in ceder city on the way down. We had so much fun there. We would go into Disney land in the morning come out at lunch go swimming at the hotel Go back in at night. It wasn't even busy the lines where quick. Kolby and Bridger could ride everything so that was nice we only had to sit out on a couple with Kate. She was the best she loved everything about it. When she would see a mouse she would freak out she want to hold it. I love watching their faces. It truly is the happiest place on earth. We went to the beach on the hottest day it was 100" it was so nice the kids loved every minute of it. We came back the next day and had dinner on the pier. So much fun. We spent five days in Disney land and we did it all. I love being able to go in and out so we could take our time. The parade's and fireworks where fun and riding the rides at night was a blast. It was well worth the trip. And we came back Monday night it was nice and I never had to drive fantastic!!
